Yummy Smorgasbord & Bazaar Today!

Need some help getting into the Christmas spirit?

Today is our church’s annual smorgasbord & bazaar!

Yesterday I made these treats (yes those are my homemade caramel… chocolate dipped pretzel rods with pecans!)

& set up lots of nice crafts & other goodies.

Didn’t think to take a pic before I left…

Some of the one-of-a-kind items are several, beautiful hand crochet baby afghans, dish cloths, scarves & hats.

We have tatted and other Christmas ornaments.

Wreaths, swags, lighted decorations, etc.

If you’re in the area come on over & have a delicious lunch of turkey, mashed potatoes, pigs in a blanket (don’t know what those are? Yummy stuffed cabbage rolls like no other!) salad & delicious desserts!

We serve 11-3 today.

There is also a raffle with beautiful prizes as well.

We’ll be at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.

132 Butcher St. in Bethalto.

Hope to see you there!

Just Keep Sewing…

Susan

  1. I wish I’d know of this sooner. Just now reading this at 1:15pm. I would have loved to take Mom up to this. Rats! Maybe next year!!!!

    1. Sorry, Sue. Put it on your calendar for next year. It’s the first Sunday in December. I will try to remember to post earlier next year, but no guarantees…
