Week # 2
Thank you for sewing my
“A Merry Christmas To You” quilt with us.
If you haven’t already,
please join my new “Sewing With Susan” Facebook group
so you can see what others are doing
& to also show your progress of this project.
This week we’ll again use the verse background fabric &
.05 Micron pen with color matching the 12 wt. cotton thread (or perle cotton thread).
Trace “Warm Wishes” found on the template sheet,
onto the fabric as shown in the diagram on page 1 of pattern.
Using the cotton thread,
stitch the verse with the same stitch that was used
to stitch “A Merry Christmas to you” last week.
As I mentioned last week I used a stem stitch.
Maggie mentioned in our Sewing With Susan FB group
that Mary Corbet has an excellent YouTube video on that stitch here.
Less work this week
so if you’re a bit behind from last week hopefully this will help you get caught up!
Just Keep Sewing…
Susan
Having fun! Thx for having the SAL!
Thanks for joining in and making the quilt!
Thanks for going easy on us this week. Almost finished Clue #1 and will surely be able to catch up this week!
You’re welcome! I don’t want it to get overwhelming. It should be fun! I enjoyed making both the large quilt and then the 4 individual quilts & I didn’t have 22 weeks to do them!
