Blog tour with give-aways

My Day on the Blog Tour for Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Volume 12

I’m once again honored to be part of another volume of Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks!

My block, Frosty is #1150.

Suzn+Quilts+Frosty+Block+QM+Vol+12

He is pieced & then his face & scarf are applique.

He’ll make a great after Christmas project when the snow starts flying.

By the way,

fabric snowmen are the only ones I truly love.

If I could move to a sunny & warm climate 365 days a year I’d be happy!

With Frosty here though, I can stay where it’s warm & sew him all day.

Suzn+Quilts+Frosty+QM+runner

How cute he would be at opposite ends of a runner for your winter table.

You would have space in the middle to put a pretty bowl of snowballs (real or the cookie kind)!

  1. Any holiday is a good excuse to sew something new. However, I am partial to any of the patriotic holidays. After being stationed in Korea for 16 months, I have a new appreciation for our freedom and privileges and don’t ever plan to take them for granted. kathleen(dot)lutz(at)comcast(dot)net

  2. The cookies look great and I love your Snowman too. They match…
Don’t have a favorite season to sew for but I do more piecing in the summer and quilting in the winter.

  3. Your table runner is a cheerful holiday touch. I can see an arrangement of holly on it as a calorie free alternative to the scrumptious cookies. The holiday that I most like to sew for is Halloween. And I like your “A Pretty Table” pattern for this time of year, or for birthdays.

  4. My favorite season for sewing is winter–there just never seems to be enough time to get it all done! Happy Thanksgiving!

  5. I like to change my wall hangings & tablerunners every season. It is hard to pick a favorite. Your snowman tablerunner will definitely be on my list of things to make soon.

  6. Love your Frosty block. I’ve been making snowman themed blocks for the holidays and now I have another block to make. I spend winters quilting.
